Is there ever a good reason to turn away child asylum seekers or to separate families?

The only way I can see it ever being ok to separate a family is if there is clear abuse going on.  Other than that no, never ok.

It depends if it’s really family members bringing them over or just random people. Please separate children from adults who bring them over for trafficking purposes.

I think it’s an absolutely horrible heartbreaking but necessary evil to protect children from being used. It’s often true the the bad actions of a few ruin things for the majority.

Separate families, maybe. But it shouldn't be straight off the bat... Like if one of the parents are wanted for murder or something then sure, separate.
Turn away child refugees? Absolutely not.

Not unless there’s clear abuse, and the child is removed for their own safety. 
I don’t buy the trafficking argument either. I’m not saying it never ever happens, but it’s not what people without training in this area think it is either.

well, where i live actually has no laws about homing asylum seekers. so during the refugees crisis we couldn’t take anyone in. 
our government paid out money to support charities that aimed to help refugees. but idk how much it helped 🤷‍♀️
