Cramps so bad you have nausea

I have pcos and finally started my period Monday March 8, 2021. My last period was in October 2020, so it has been long overdue. The cramps hurt so much that even after taking 2 ibuprofen pills I still feel like throwing up. Does this happen with anyone else?
