A little rant:

So a couple in my close friend group is naming their newest daughter the same name as my oldest daughter. Am I right to be pissed? I’m already not fond of the mom/wife but tolerate her because our husbands are good friends. To make matters worse she told our mutual friend (same friend group) she was planning on using this name and not me. We live in the same city, hang out with the kids regularly and take yearly family trips together. She’s even going as far as to spell it the same (Logyn)! What irritates me the most is that when she was pregnant with her first daughter they really loved the name Ryan, but one of our other friends who we don’t see that often had just named their daughter Ryan and they mentioned how they didn’t want to use the name because of that, but now here they are 2 years later doing the same to me. I’ve been purposely keeping my distance because it’s very annoying and I know I won’t be able to not bring it up when we’re all together. Btw I know I don’t own the name and blah blah blah, but come on...it’s ridiculous! Idk its just weird and annoying to me and I needed to rant lol.
