Has anyone else noticed an increase in medical issue in this group compared to their last pregnancy ?

I had my daughter in 2018 and belonged to that group. Maybe 5 or 6 had early complications 
It seem like this group has A LOT more complicated pregnancies or fetal abnormalities

I think in my previous pregnancy (baby born 5/19) there were less, however, since we are in the time of COVID, I think people aren’t with their peers and aren’t able to talk to them as much. This is a good outlet for this and a way to socialize and share. I think more people are using the app, taking the time to talk in the group and share.

I’ve been keeping track, excluding first trimester miscarriages, and there are 36 mamas/ babies with potential medical issues in this group so far. 
In my last group, agin excluding first trimester miscarriage, at this point there were like...maybe 5 or 6. We haven’t even gotten to the 3rd trimester yet. We will see if that number plateaus or increases

This is my 3rd time being pregnant and on this app. I feel like it’s the same. I think it depends on the group and people’s willingness to share what’s going on. But it’s seems to all balance out.

It’s funny but I was actually thinking the opposite- I had a May 2017 baby and I remember there were so many more early miscarriages and problems among the members of the group. Especially first trimester miscarriages I remember how it freaked me out how often it happened!
