Ready for a bed ?

Question

How did you know your little one was ready to move out of crib and into a bed ? Aside from being able to climb out of crib unless that was the only reason.

Mine stopped sleeping well in his crib. We went on vacation and he had to sleep in a twin and his sleep was completely different. We converted his crib for awhile and then went to a twin when we found out we were pregnant with number 2

I actually kept mine in the crib until they either outgrew it or started needing the bathroom at night (I didn't have climbers) so around age 3.5. Cribs are the same size as a toddler bed but without the security, plus they tend to stop napping once the crib is gone, so I see no advantage to moving them out earlier than necessary even if technically they could be ready for a bigger bed

Kept getting her legs stuck multiple times a day we did the switch to a low to the ground toddler bed once she turned 1 even her pediatrician agreed it was a good idea! Thankfully it went smooth it broke my heart a little how easy it was and she fell asleep no problem and stayed in bed 😅

He'd smack himself on the wood , and legs and arms would get stuck in between the bars
