Is flirting cheating?

Should flirting with someone and giving them your attetion be considered flirting?

In my opinion, anyway you’re giving someone else attention that should be only for your significant other, it’s cheating. 
I don’t think there’s “innocent” flirting.

Cheating is what is discussed and agreed upon in a relationship. In my relationship, flirting is not cheating. We live in the south, what many people would consider flirting is normal conversation

I am a natural flirt. It *IS* innocent for me. There isn’t the intent of pursuing something with someone else. It’s being friendly, confident, happy and enjoying boosting someone’s ego. I flirt with my bestfriends whenever I’m around them. I am a naturally friendly person. 
If someone has a problem with that, I obviously respect their boundaries.
I’m not going to stop being myself because someone is insecure. That’s what the person fell for to begin with. Why would I completely change my personality?

yep. there’s no such thing as friendly flirting. there’s a difference between legit flirting and being genuinely friendly and kind. people mistake it all the time.

there’s a big difference between flirting and being friendly because flirting is sexual.
