Diapers and wipes (if you are using disposable)

Burp cloths
Swaddles or sleep sack (or both!)
Drying rack for bottles
Bottles and nipples (ask for different sizes and bottles because you ever know what baby will prefer)

A carrier. I would have paid $1000 for mine it was priceless. I wore my daughter for like 3 months straight. I have the ergo baby one  and the moby but I preferred a lore carrier type since it was easier to get on quickly.

I’ll add Bordeaux’s butt paste (I think that’s the name) for diaper rash, a sound machine, something to bathe baby in that works through the first year. Oh and a breast feeding pillow if you plan to breast feed.
