Miscarriage

I had an early miscarriage just under a month ago, me and my boyfriend experienced this before when we first got together 3 years ago and I know he doesn't always know how to react so I've been dealing with being upset on my own. Last night I decided to reach out and say it was upsetting me but all he could say is 'I don't know what you're expecting me to say'... Am I wrong to feel really let down by him? I don't want this to cause problems but I expected more from him this time.
