I couldn’t find mine yesterday and it’s my fourth baby. Had an ultrasound today and baby is 8w4d with a great heart rate! I couldn’t find my other kiddos until 10+ weeks. And consistently not until over 11 weeks.

It took me like an hour of scanning to find it the one day, it’s still so early that it’s really really hard to pin down. Don’t freak!

Totally normal. That’s why they don’t recommend using one until after first trimester (or using one at all). I still do 🤪 I’m 9+5. Couldn’t find it after 20 minutes yesterday. Found it within 30 seconds today. Baby is still SO small and so wiggly it’s so hard to get. But sometimes it’s so so easy for me and sometimes i try forever and can’t find it 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is why midwives by me will not use one before 16 weeks, it’s causes unnecessary stress and worry
