You'd be surprised just how many people have sheer disgust for "fat people". As if they aren't human & don't matter.

My grandfather looked like Elvis/ tall dark and handsome, smoked a pack a day since the age of 14. Ate pure garbage at every meal and only drank beer and soda but no one would ever look at him as if he was "disgusting" let someone "obsese" be seen eating pizza & they get bullied and picked on such as my 500lb 6ft9 brother who gets muttered "fat fuck" for eating a large sub sandwich in public... But not my 6ft2 170lb grandpa who might as well have drank bacon grease at every meal. People are superficial and ignorant.
