Is it normal for the heart rate to drop off a lot from what it normally is in the last month of pregnancy?

My baby’s heart rate is typically in the 150s. Today at my 36 week appointment it was 132. My doctor didn’t say anything but I was wondering if this is normal? (Didn’t think to ask in the moment)

My babys HR had been 153 every single appointment from the start, but my last appointment (31 weeks) it was 136 bpm. The midwife told me it was a really healthy heart beat and didn’t seem worried at all. I was also worried like you, so put up a post (on a different app) and everyone said it was normal and that they tend to drop as they grow bigger. As long as it’s between 110-170 it’s considered a normal healthy heart beat :)

I was told it was normal I would get weekly nst testing baby was fine but because of my RA they would monitor baby weekly. And since 36 weeks he had an 130-136 HR. But before it was 140-157 HR.

Are you counting the kicks every day? Are the fetal movements still normal? If yes then I’d say this is normal. If no then I’d call your doc or labor and delivery for advice.
