Is it okay not to pull out while on the pill?

Question

I’m currently taking birth control pills. Been on it for 6 months now. I only have sex once a month and he doesn’t pull out. Should we still use a condom?
Does having withdrawal bleeding during the placebo pills indicate that you’re not pregnant or do you still have to take a pregnancy test to be sure?

We never pull out when I'm on birth control. That's the whole point of it imo. The pill is 99% effective if you use it properly

I was on BC for 10 years and never had him pull out. Never a scare and didn’t get pregnant until I went off BC and we were actively trying. That’s the whole point of the pill.

Yes, it’s fine to not pull out if you take the pill properly. Pulling out gives you a little more protection, though.

I was on the pill and took it like clockwork. My son will be 3 in august lol. No birth control is 100% though.

If you take the pill every day at the same time as you are supposed to it protects you from pregnancy with 99% (no birth control is 100% by the way) 
The withdrawal week is for your body to clean, bleeding is normal and a sign that you are not pregnant. However the pill will not protect you from STD. If you have a new partner always use condoms and let him get checked for HIV and such. 
If you forget just one pill in your cycle you are not protected from pregnancy for the rest of that cycle!! Always use extra protection like condoms. 
Pullout is not birth control and will not  prevent a pregnancy!!! There is something called pre-come and it can already contain semen. Women have gotten pregnant with the pullout method.

You should be safe but it’s not 100% effective. The withdrawal bleed won’t happen if your pregnant but again, some people do experience bleeds while pregnant so take a test if your really concerned

I wouldn’t suggest not pulling out since it is always a possibility even if it’s low. That would make me paranoid if he didn’t and we were not trying! Good luck!
