I was talking to my husband today and he was saying how he saw a post on social media saying “unless you’re my close friend or family, don’t Friend request my wife or follow her. That’s weird bruh and I’m not down with it”. He said it got a lot of likes and comments. Apparently many men feel this way. What are your thoughts?

I actually kinda agree LOL a lot of men Follow women they have no connection to bc they just want to look at their pics LOL but I wouldn’t go as far to do all that unless he was actually calling someone out. And Probly thought, well while I’m addressing one, I might as well address them all LOL

I personally never really cared about social media that deeply. My partner knows to stay respectful to our relationship on and off line 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel that’s respectful for the marriage. My husband and I don’t have traditional social media though, all I have is glow.

I find it odd that it’s a thing. Because I mean I follow who I want to on IG but I don’t let people follow me because I post my kids so to be on the safe side only people I know personally. But if you have a page that you use for business or networking idk what someone’s relationship status has to do with it.
I don’t limit who my husband can follow because I truly don’t care about it.

Uhhhh I have male friends. Requiring them to be YOUR good friend before they’re allowed to be friends with your wife is controlling as fuck and I wouldn’t tolerate it.
