Rash?!

Hello everyone, I have been using pads for almost a month due to bleeding from a small hemorrhage and a D&C that was done to me. My skin has now become irritated and a huge rash that I didn’t even realize I had until today appeared. It’s in between my TMI butt cheeks and coming up. I have bought a cream to calm it down however I was looking and I noticed that my skin was peeling. Could the rash be healing? Is that normal? I am positive the pads have given me the rash because I felt it for DAYS but I for SOME ridiculous reason never bothered to look until today that I was itching like crazy and realized that I messed up by not fixing the problem right away. Anyways, I’ve calmed it down with cream however I’m freaking out about the peeling skin. It doesn’t hurt but is it normal for your skin to peel after part of a rash has healed? TIA
