Major cat behavioral problems

My 5 month old cat will not stop scratching me! I have scratches all over my arms. She will randomly grab my arm when I’m just sitting there and scratch it up, and when I try to pull away my arm she’ll bite me and grab on to it which hurts even more. I can’t even wear short sleeves anymore because people have told me it looks like I’m c*tying myself , when I’m not it’s my cat!! I have tried putting nail caps on her, she won’t let me. I’ve cut her nails and it doesn’t seem to help either. I’m at a loss at this point. She has tons of energy and I try to play with her but then she gets too rough with me and will scratch me. I don’t know what to do at this point.

When she’s calm she’s sweet and likes to cuddle but like 90% of the time she acts crazy.

And I don’t want to rehome her. I heard getting her spayed will help so I’m definitely going to spay her.
