Did we over react?

My family went out to eat for lunch today and me and my 15 month old daughter got the chair pulled back from beneath us. My diaper bag actually caused it to tip over while I was sitting down. I got a huge base and my daughter hit her head on floor. It immediately bruised and now she’s got a big goose egg on her head. We took her straight to the Er and now I’m getting commits like “ you know that won’t be the first time” and just making me feel like I overreacted. The diaper bag only weighed 2 pounds btw we weighed it to see.
