My baby is a little over six weeks old now, I was hospitalized again when he was 3 1/2 weeks old for a bad gallbladder that I had to have removed, being my second surgery in a month as little boy was born via cesarean. While I was in the hospital he was getting bottles of expressed milk. Since being home again, I cannot get him to latch properly to the breast. He does not open his mouth wide for a nipple, more shallow with his tongue in the way doing short pulses for a bottle. I really want to get back to exclusively breastfeeding but am unsure how to get him back to the wide open mouth. I feel like we were just getting the hang of things and into a routine when I was hospitalized.

Any help or recommendations is appreciated!
