IUI with ovarian cysts

So my last IUI (second one) my day 3 ultrasound showed a lot of follicles on both ovaries that were too big for where I was at in my cycle. My RE put me on two weeks of birth control repeat ultrasound showed they were gone and ovaries were “calmed down”. Unfortunately that IUI didn’t work went in today for day 3 ultrasound my right ovary looked good but left had a few big cysts on it. He gave me the option to do birth control again or just start back on letrozole for this IUI cycle and “see what happens” I decided to just get going w the letrozole. Kinda nervous. Anyone have any similar situation??
