Postpartum belts?? Are they worth it?

Deciding if I should get one or not? Are they worth it? If so which would you recommend and what does it help you with? Also can you wear it the whole Day ?

I didn't buy one with my first because I honestly didn't know that they existed.  I'm 35 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and plan on purchasing one!  
I looked up the highest rated one on Amazon and there's enough proof in the reviews to convince me to give it a shot.  
I learned from watching a YouTube video last night that you wouldn't want to put it on until 48 hours after birth..wear it for an hour the first day, two hours the second and so on until you work your way to wearing it 12 hrs a day for the best results.  She said you could break up the 12 hours too.  And that you should wear it until 4 months, then there wouldn't be much point after that.  She was really informative lol, I'm just going off memory here.

Yes! Worth it regardless of how you deliver. It relieves discomfort in your ab muscles, shrinking uterus, and your back. And the ones they give you in the hospital are crap.

Yes yes and yes. Muscle separation is a long journey, any help you can get from the start the better

I didn’t wear one with my first, I thought they were a waste. I have diastasis recti. Now, while I know it wouldn’t have stoppped me from getting that, both my midwife and my OB have advised I wear one for at least 2 weeks postpartum to help draw my muscles back together and prevent it from getting any worse.

definitely not, but i’ve never had one. same with a pregnancy pillow

I think they’re worth it. I had one with my first and it definitely helped get everything back into place. I’m wearing one with this one too
