Would this be odd?

A guy on hinge gave me his Instagram and before I followed him I saw he had loads of photos from who I'm assuming is his ex all over his feed and kinda recently like a year. Would you find it a bit weird if he had his ex still on all of his photos? Going back years. I kinda understand if they're friends noe but it concerned me that he was actually still with her so I asked and he was like "well obviously I wouldn't be on here if I wasn't"
