Decreased movement?

Anyone else having decreased movement around 33-34 weeks?

Answer

Movement will change as they start to run out of space, but the frequency of movement should not. If you’re noticing less frequent movement, call your ob. It’s not something you should ignore and they can tell you if it’s a problem or not.

I felt like my movement decreased this week, but it turns out she just changed position so I can’t feel her as much. I had a NST today and she was literally moving nonstop but could hardly feel her. My dr even commented that I have an extremely active baby lol🤦🏼‍♀️

I was told the amount of movement shouldn’t change. The movements might not feel as forceful as you get further along but you should still feel the same amount of movements. If you feel like they are less frequent call or OB for sure.

If you’re concerned, go see your OB. 
Not meaning to worry you, but a friend had decreased movement at 35 weeks then ended up with an emergency c-section after she left her OB office. Baby had some issues that needed multiple surgeries and is still in the NICU.
