Labor near?

I’ve had cramping all day, usually I’ll have some in the middle of the night when I have a full bladder. I’ll pee and it goes away. I’ve had them all day, and they hurt bad, i have to stop what I’m doing. I’m also contracting but not as much as the cramping. My question is, is this normal or will labor be near?

Check in with your dr! I felt this in my last pregnancy and it ended up being preterm labor that they were able to stop. It’s so hard to tell sometimes if it’s real labor or not so keeping in touch with your Dr can help you feel better about it.

I’ve had bad period like cramps, lower backache, and belly tightness for a few days now. It seems to progressively getting worse and more painful day by day. I’ve seen that those cramps are contractions, but if they aren’t consistent and get worse over time, it’s just our body getting ready. I’m 36w3d
