I've had a crazy amount of pain, and my periods last for months and disappear for months too. I've been on the pill, depo, and now the doc wants to put me on the IUD. I've heard it's not the greatest thing to get, but the other birth controls didn't work for getting rid of or regulating my menstrual, and I think this one won't either. So I was thinking about getting a hysterectomy. I don't care whether or not I have kids. If I want them, I will adopt; I've looked into everything, so I'm not going in blind, but I just wanted an opinion about the IUD sorry about the really long question.
