Hey everyone, I’m a FTM here and I’m wondering if these might be some signs of labor drawing near?

Around 11:45 pm, I woke up to a lot of pain on both sides of my pelvic area, along with sharp pain on my right side. I decided to get up to use the bathroom, while standing there I felt a lot of pressure and my stomach was really tight and hard. Pretty much if I tried to poke it, there was no way because of how hard it was.

(TMI Part:) I sat on the toilet and felt these intense cramps, period like cramps, and had a lot of pressure in my butt. I felt the need to push and of course, #2 came out. This happened 2 other times but since I didn’t have my phone with me I couldn’t track it. However, I can say this intense pressure/push feeling happened within 10 minutes. After that, I didn’t have the intense feeling anymore and the cramps kinda died down.

I just woke up around 1:45 am to a slightly similar feeling but definitely less pain. My right side still aches and I have some pain on both sides of my pelvic area. Ever since the first time I woke up, my baby has been moving non-stop and then settles once I’m able to fall back asleep.

It is important to note that I did go to the park to walk around for about 45 minutes. Towards the end of that walk, I had mild cramping and felt pelvic pressure too.

Is it possible that Labor could be drawing near? Just for your information too, I had a doctors appointment last week where she said I was a loose 1 cm and that my cervix is definitely softening. (She didn’t tell me how much % I was effaced, just that I was softening and on the right track).

• Insomnia

• Light Cramping

• Losing tiny pieces of Mucus Plug

• Extreme Fatigue

• Night Sweats

• Minor Nausea

• Nesting

• Clear/White Discharge
