Surprise gender with a c-section still worth it to wait?! I’m 33 weeks

I’ve seen some comments about surprise gender at birth with a c-section isn’t as exciting as finding out through a natural birth. Any advice or experience with this?!

I had to have an emergency c-section with my first and then had a scheduled c-section with my second. Both babies we stayed surprised on the gender until birth. 
It was totally amazing when the doctor held them up and said “you have a little boy” and “your girl is here!” 
Taking in that moment of finding out and meeting your baby completely made time stop. I didn’t even think about the fact that I was literally cut in half and being put back together. The nurses made sure I got to give my baby the first kiss and then let my husband held them right next to me.
