Crotchet ladies, how do you hold your yarn like this?

I tried and it's so freaking uncomfortable but it's probably why my stitches are so tight cause I use my finger to wrap the yarn around and I can't make a DC for shit, with this in her video it's so fluid and loose. Help😫

it’s exactly like the sign language symbol for the letter k try looking that up and your hand probably will cramp pretty fast for a while but it gets better!
