So my baby is 14 months old and we started the ferber method+chair method. What i mean by that is i seperated his room and i kiss him then put him down then i sit beside his crib and hold his hands until he falls asleep, just the first two days i made him cry by leaving the room for few seconds because he kept playing and throwing his pacifier.

Long story short: today is our 4th day and he still wakes up through the night. and i have to go to his room and sit beside his crib or fall asleep there on the floor until he sleeps back, is this normal should i keep going or am i doing something wrong ?
