Update- he blocked me from viewing his IG story

I posted yesterday how my bf had blocked me from viewing his story. He doesn’t post pictures as often as he does stories so randomly I’ll go on his page just to view his stories he has saved. Yesterday I went on his profile and they were all gone so I asked my friend if she can view his profile to see if he just has me blocked or he took them down. Sure enough he just has me blocked (his page is public, so she was able to see) I was so mad and confused as to why???

He swears we’re best friends and he tells me everything so I couldn’t believe he’d block me. All I kept thinking was why??? & if their were other times he’s done this but I never noticed:

I confronted him about it yesterday, I didn’t ask him I told him I’m confused as to why he’d block me from his story and he was shocked and automatically said “I don’t have you bl-“

I immediately got mad and said don’t you dare lie to me and he stood quiet.

He then said he blocked me because he doesn’t want me to feel some type of way when he posts his “political views” his words. He had posted on a story something about the hate for Asians that’s going on.. he said you know I’m Filipino so I wanted to post that and show support but idk how you’d feel..

we’re in our mid 20’s.. what..

I got so mad because I’ve never made him feel any type of way and he knows I’m so kindhearted I just can’t believe he felt the need to block me.

We’re currently not talking just because idk what else he’s posted and I just never noticed. The fact that he tried to lie when I confronted him & the fact that he felt the need to block me is making me think we’re not as perfect as he throws out there for him to feel like he had to do that..

What do you ladies think.
