my baby doesn't want to play on his own??

he's about to be 13 months tomorrow and he just doesn't want to be alone or play on his own. is this normal? any tips  on how to encourage to play on his own? i don't mind to play with him but i just want him to learn to play on his own... is this normal at this stage? 🤔

I put on music, then I play with him until I see that something catches his interest and then I go do the chores while singing the music that it’s on

Yikes mine too! Hes been so clingy and impossible to do chores at home without him crying! Ive been looking up pinterest for some ideas for sensory play how to entertain a baby so far it works. I tried doing something like putting small animal and stick it to the kitchen cabinet using paint tape and it keeps him busy.

No tips, but my son has been like this lately. Before he could play on his own for a good hour or more. These days it's virtually impossible to leave him to play. I sure hope it'll pass.
