Birth control if you’re a Christian?

Question

My husband and I have 2 boys and my baby is 8 months.. not ready to have a third yet. So as a Christian do l take birth control? This confuses me so much! I believe in Gods timing and his will. If I do take it, will I get pregnant anyways because it is his will. If I don’t, do I just trust Him that I won’t get pregnant? Needing wisdom on this.

The line for me is a beating heart. Anything that prevents sperm and egg from meeting is fine. So condoms, the pill, iud, etc, are all perfectly fine to use. God gave you a brain and the ability to decide the number and spacing of your children

I dont think birth control is wrong. Otherwise one would end up with 10 or more children. When you are ready to gave children again, you can stop using birth control and if its Gid's will, you will get pregnant again during that time.

I don't think it's wrong if you use birth control as a Christian personally, but I don't. There are so many side effects of artificial hormones and easier ways to prevent pregnancy. 
Check out "family planning method"! That's what I use and it works great🥰❤️ no unplanned pregnancies or side effects of birth control.

I don’t see anything anti-Christian about using birth control! God gives free will and using BC is just being responsible!

We use natural family planning. It’s a natural way of avoiding ovulation windows and when done properly is just as affective as other birth control options.

Me personally, we regret ever using oral birth control. I was on it for barely two years and it screwed up my body so bad that it’s taken another two just to ovulate again. I hated being in it because for me it did mean that I wasn’t trusting God. I do fully believe that it is something that is up to each individual couple to pray about and decide for themselves though. Right about the time I was becoming super depressed about being on birth control and feeling overwhelmingly guilty for it, I went to pick up my prescription and was told that my insurance had randomly decided not to cover it anymore with no warning. We couldn’t afford it, I didn’t want to be on it, I didn’t want to be on a different kind either so we took that as God saying it’s okay to stop. We’ve been using the family planning method and condoms for the last two years and so far, no babies yet. Of course I’ll get back to you when we start trying for kids because I do occasionally joke that I’ll be really pissed if I find out we’re infertile and we wasted all that money and fun sexy time trying not to get pregnant. 😝 But again, I believe it is a unique decision that each couple needs to bring before God and make together. For us personally, oral birth control is our only regret.

I’m struggling to find a birth control (other than condoms or natural family planning) that don’t prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. Oral birth control and IUD/patches/implants work in 3 ways:
1) They prevent sperm from ever reaching an egg by thickening the mucus around the cervix to prevent sperm from entering the uterus. 
2) They prevent you from ovulating. 
Both of these methods I am comfortable with, however the backup plan for most contraceptives is why I don’t take it anymore in any way.
3) They change the lining of the uterus in order to make the uterus “unfavorable for implantation.” Aka, it prevents a fertilized egg from being able to grow. Since my belief is that life begins at conception, I do believe this is an abortifacient.
