When did you or is your doctor planning on you stopping IVF meds?

I’m 10 weeks today and my doctor told me to stop all meds. It’s seriously stressing me out. He say the placenta is doing it’s job by now, but I’m just so scared.

Stopped at 10wks was very nervous but currently 23 wks and doing great

With a fresh transfer, my stop date was supposed to be at 10wks also. I’ve since had complications including a subchorionic hemmorhage, and I don’t know if that might impact the timeline at this point. If it were a frozen transfer, it would have been through 12 wks at my clinic. Trust your doctor and your body! You got this.

I stopped right at 12 weeks too. I was worried and asked my fertility clinic if they needed to do bloodwork to confirm my levels were ok before stopping my meds but they said it was standard to not continue beyond 12 weeks.

I officially stopped my PIO injections yesterday, March 23 which is 8 weeks and 2 days. I still have to take the progesterone suppository twice a day until March 31 (9 weeks and 3 days).

The timeline is usually 12 weeks but can be sooner or later depending on your body. With my last I stopped at about 11 weeks. I’m hoping the same this time around.
