Any littles still not talking??

I think there is a big word explosion 18 to 24 months so I'm sure all of our littles will be talking a lot more soon!

Follow up to my last comment: I just had my son's 18 month check up yesterday. She said each sign language baby can do counts towards his words. Her main concern was that he can understand what I'm saying (where's the ball, do you want to take a bath, are you hungry, etc). Said there is no need for a referral right now to a speech therapist and that his words should greatly increase in the next six months. 💕 Just FYI for you all too.

Same here he says mama and vroom vroom just created his own sign language instead and we communicate well lol I find it so cute but we are on waiting list for speech therapy Also

Same, she babbles a lot but no more than a few actual words. No imitating sounds either.

Same here. We had his 18 month check up yesterday and our doctor said he’s right on the edge of it being troublesome so he recommended we get early intervention involved now before he’s any older.

My guy isn’t saying much either....

Same with my boy! He says a few words but not consistently. I'm not too worried about it.
