Successful VBAC at 38w6 days 🥰

We had a repeat csection scheduled for 3/24 but if I went into labor on my own I was going to try for a VBAC. I was induced with my last pregnancy due to complications and did notttttt want another induction lol

I had been having irregular contractions the past few days. Some Braxton Hicks. Some that took my breath away but not consistent. It wasn’t until 6pm on Monday 3/22 that contractions started becoming way intense. I labored on the phone with my mom while my husband fed our 18 month old and got him a bath. My sister came over and my husband and I headed to the hospital. Got to my room a little after 8pm and was 6cm. Checked me again 30 min later, 8cm then my water broke. Was ready to push around 9pm. Charlotte Annela made her appearance at 11:04pm.

Zero time for pain meds, no epidural. This girl was so ready to come earth side lol 2nd degree tear and sore from back labor but I’m doing okay otherwise.
