Advice on how to keep MIL visit to birth short?

Looking for any tips about how to keep MIL’s visit to hospital when I give birth to my first baby? 
Back story is she plays mind games like arranging family holidays but forgetting to invite hubby, doesn’t respect any of her children’s life choices or parenting choices, claps back at any decision you have made with a negative comment and never apologises for her bad behaviour. It is everyone else that has the problem not her 🙄 Confronting her and trying to implement boundaries usually results in world war 3! 😩

If that’s the case why does she even need to know you gave birth. I say tell her when you’re home and that you couldn’t have visitors anyway.

Honestly, I would tell her due to COVID restrictions, visitors are not allowed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You may be able to tell the hospital no visitors, and not let them tell anyone who asks or says they are a visitor you are there and had the baby. 
That was part of the list of check in questions we answered when I gave birth to my daughter.

Most hospitals aren’t allowing visitors so that might help but I don’t know why you would want her to visit at all

Just don't tell her you're giving birth until after you're already home and ready for visitors.

Just don't announce baby is born yet and tell your hubby that you would like of he helps with his mother to if anything block her

If she can visit at the hospital let the nurses know you need some rest. They are good about removing people from the room. At home I would say before she even comes out a time limit on it. Say like “we would love to have you but we only have energy for short visits.”
