What does your doctor say about pregnant women getting the vaccine?

At first I was hearing that pregnant women shouldn't get one, but now I'm seeing online a lot of vaccine locations saying pregnant women SHOULD get the vaccine and that they could be more at risk for the virus. 
I'm really hoping this is my month but im trying not to test for a week. I'm trying to be hopeful so I feel unsure if I should schedule my appointment or not.

Many doctors were on the fence about it at first because obviously you can’t do vaccine studies on pregnant women. BUT they have found that pregnant women are more susceptible to COVID and that it has caused complications in pregnancy, especially in the third trimester (where you really don’t want complications to arise).
I opted to get it in my TWW and would have even if I already knew I was pregnant. 
Even now a lot of doctors won’t tell you to get it. They encourage it and they will give you the facts to make an informed decision, but at the end of the day the risk is all on you.

My fertility specialist recommended getting the vaccine regardless of TTC or pregnancy. My clinic (in the US) follows the guidance of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College for Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and they both issued statements that there is no evidence the vaccine has any impact on reproductive health. I got my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine last week during my TWW, and all of my pregnant friends (there’s a lot of them right now🙄) also got it or are getting it. It’s a relief to get it, feels like we’re finally turning the page on a dark and anxiety-ridden chapter of our lives. Sending you baby dust regardless of your decision💕💕

My RE and OB are both actively recommending pregnant women receive the vaccination. The biggest variation you’ll probably see is the when you’re in the first trimester, as you can spike a fever. However, if you’re at risk for contact with the virus, you can wind up with a worse one and for longer, so your risks need to be assessed, even then. I received my first one at 25-26 weeks, and will be receiving the second soon. 
Please don’t listen to people’s recommendations from midwives or other medical staff. They do not have anywhere near the same biochemical, or general medical, education as a physician. Speak with physicians, specifically OBs and Immunologists about your concerns and present data.

I had booking appointment with my midwife last week and she said it’s a big no as there’s not enough info on it. We are in England if that makes any difference (I know a lot of you pregnant ladies are in the US and have had/or getting the vaccine)
