Are all feminine washes bad to use?

Question

If feminine washes are bad to use,then why do they sell them on the shelves? I have read reviews on different feminine washes on how great they are. 
Some ladies review says their ob/gyn doctor recommended feminine washes. 
How well does the ph balance feminine washes in the purple bottle? I read it helps with reccuring bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection. 
I don't have no infection at this moment and I haven't bought any feminine washes but I've been thinking how are these washes bad when they sell it.

They sell cigarettes knowing how bad they are for your lungs, your health and the health of others 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s loads of things that are in the market that are sold that are not good for you. My issue with a lot of feminine products such as Summer’s Eve is that they specifically target women’s insecurities regarding smell and discharge and market their products to get rid of scents and that they’re so “healthy” for your vagina whilst in reality they can cause more damage by throwing off your ph. Nothing more is needed for your vagina besides water and unscented soap for your outer labia and folds. A lot of feminine products make it seem that if your vagina is smelling anything but roses that there’s something wrong.

They sell them because they can and for no other reason. My OB/GYN was very firm about it and said they do nothing but harm you. They throw your pH out of whack. Let’s be honest, everyone is going to vary slightly with what’s normal and a wash can’t mimic that. If your pH is off, it puts you at increased risk of infections. They’re a scam. So are douches. I was told nothing but water in that area unless the doctor prescribes something you should wash with due to a condition of some kind.

My obgyn says not to use them , they aren’t good for you . I don’t use them and I don’t have any issues . My friend used them and got uti’s . Stopped using them and stopped getting them .

Absolutely do not use these. Its just money hungry men telling you your vag should smell like flowers and vanilla lol. You are self cleaning down there and do not require products to help. Washes (especially with fragrance) can cause serious damage to your body. Run as far as you can!

I use summers Eve, and have for probably a decade. Never had an issue. I like to clean myself, and this is what works for me.

You are aware that things like alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, artificial food dyes and high fructose corn syrup are sold, correct? 
My doctor has always recommend avoiding feminine washes and I’ve never had a vaginal yeast infection or BV. I’ll stick with what works 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t think all are made the same. I hates summer eves and the other one. I use one I found online because just water doesn’t get the build up off the inside part of my lips. To this day never had a uti or yeast infection while using that wash. If just water works for you then go head but I needed a gentle soap to remove build up or discharge

I use summers eve aloe brand. That is literally the only thing I can use. Every other soap breaks me out. I am EXTREMELY sensitive in that area for some reason. The aloe is barely scented. It’s the only summers eve product I can use. Any other soaps break me out incredibly bad to the point it leaves sores (probably tmi). I don’t see anything wrong with using what works for you!
