Provera Causing False Positive OPK???

So, I was prescribed Provera and a low dose of thyroid medication. I started taking them on 3/20/2021. I wasn't even thinking about ovulation because I was experiencing bleeding on and off for awhile. Well, on 3/22 I started getting pain near my ovaries. Took a cheapie opk. It was negative but still pretty dark. Darkest I'd ever gotten. On 3/23 I received a high on the cheapie and today, 3/24 I confirmed with my clear blue advanced and it gave me a "high" reading (blinking face). Can the medication give a false positive or is it just a coincidence? I've emailed my doc but waiting for her reply.
