Please help. I'm worried

currently 30 weeks. I'm losing my mucus little by little everyday. From last two- three days good chunk is coming out ( however it's not blood tinged) . I'm worried... is that a sign a of a pre-term labour?? Should I inform my OBGYN? Also there's no pain . I'm really really scared. This is my first child and I don't want to take any risk
