Cosleeping at 5 months
My little one is 5 months old next week and up till about 4 months he slept pretty good (up to 3-4hrs at a time) He’s been sleeping in his crib in the nursery.
However after his sleep regression I’m lucky to sleep for 2hrs at a time and he cries when I try to lay him down in his crib.
We’ve tried helping him fall asleep in his crib on his own... Keeping a consistent bedtime routine has helped but he still isn’t the best sleeper in the crib. I end up falling asleep in the recliner with him after breastfeeding because I’m so exhausted.
The last several nights I gave cosleeping a try... and he sleeps for 5hrs at a time!!!🙌🏻
I’d like to switch to full time co-sleeping but am concerned I’m taking a step back by moving him from crib to cosleeping?? The other half of me says I am simply adjusting to meet his needs- his sleep is important! Thoughts? Advice on cosleeping if you do? No judgement please if you don’t support cosleeping.
