Care rates are low, deaths low as high risk vaccinated. Why the hell is it still going on?
And now the uk has imposed laws that can introduce lockdown until September 2021, fabulous

No I don't. I'm a nurse and damn I never want to go back to when we were at the peak. I got floated to the covid unit a lot and it sucks so bad. 6 patients, gowning up and down all day. If a patient goes down hill it takes 5 minutes to get all gowned up and get in there which can be the difference between life and death. Please let's just suck it up a little longer so we can go back to normal next year

Absolutely have taken it too far and will continue to take it further if no one steps up. This is going to be like a fly where it stays and comes and goes seasonally. That means we are going to be locked down for the rest of our lives. Step up or enjoy this shit. it’s ridiculous. and i’m in the medical field so don’t bring up any of that nonsense.

Yes and no. Im all for opening everything back up but with taking proper precautions still. We have dealt with this for more than a year so if you are still afraid of it even when taking precautions then you shouldn’t be going out in public period.

Where I live, no. Cases are still up, hospitals are still struggling to keep up with patients and people don’t even respect our “restrictions”. So now we have a “lockdown” where you’re still allowed to go where you want, meet who you want and gather as long as it’s before the curfew. And people still won’t respect it. It’s not going to do anything for the situation so I’m kind of like what’s the point? But I’m still gonna respect the guidelines outlined by our health officials and local government

Easing restrictions is how we are getting variants worldwide. People who already recovered will probably catch a variant now and are already weakened. Not a recipe for success

It's a difficult to say. While you want to be sure that you are being a responsible citizen, doing your part to mitigate this and keep the community safe....there is a line there, and at this point, a full year later I do think we've collectively done enough. There is no reason why at this point, the vulnerable and those most at risk shouldnt be taking the bulk of the precautions whilst the rest of us go on with our lives. 
The reason why I say this has nothing to do with "being selfish" or anything of the like...quite the contrary. I'm concerned about all the other issues that plagues humanity that have gone unaddressed due to "covid blinders". 
Statistics have just been released showing that the lifespan of future cancer patients has dropped by 8 years due to lack of screening and early treatments. Antidepressant prescription rates soared to 50% more than prior years. Suicides are on the rise, in demographics never seen. Kids as young as 8 hanging themselves in their parents closets and 12 year olds drowning themselves in the river. Abuse is also soaring. More women and children being killed by their partners and being beaten to a bloody pulp undetected, abuser unscathed becuase who's going ri find out? No one is leaving the house.  Schoolchildren are developing strange aversions and exhibiting signs of anti socialism. About half of the small businesses that were open and thriving in 2019 will not reopen leading to depression and poverty...which also kills, incidentally. It goes on and on...there is more than just 1 way to die slowly and painfully.
We have to have empathy for everyone.

It’s like stopping your antibiotics early because you feel better. Lightening restrictions caused a surge in cases. We restrict more after a surge, drop in cases, so we lighten them again. We need to reach herd immunity before lightening restrictions or it’s going to be a rollercoaster forever.
