Do you lay with your baby everyday when they nap?

I feel alone. All my friends and I have babies the same age and apparently I’m the only one that lays with my kid everyday when she naps. They didn’t try and make me feel bad, they were just saying all the things they do while baby naps and I started to feel like a helicopter mom. Idk why I’m up my kids butt lol am

You’re allowed to do whatever you want with your kid.
Don’t feel bad just because someone else doesn’t do the same things as you.

I do not, but that’s because it’s my only time to get things done. Do whatever works for you!

I don’t lay with them but I rock them and usually nurse them to sleep.  And then because I have more kids I actually take the nap time to spend time with the baby and not have to do ANYTHING.....I need a break and this is my only break...snuggling my babe during naps.  If I get sleepy and need to lay down I’ll lay her somewhere safe and take a nap.

You do you, mama! If it works for your family there’s no shame in it. I snuggle my baby for naps. He sleeps in his crib just fine at night and being stuck at home I have nothing else to do so I don’t mind it. If it works for you then that’s all that matters! In my opinion if they don’t have to be the one to hold my baby for naps then they don’t need to worry about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I always sleep when baby sleeps. If they're awake I always have them in the carrier so I can get things done

My 2 month old and I nap every day together unless I need to get some things done. Typically I nap when he naps because night time sleeping hasn't been good until....this past week honestly.
He has only been sleeping 3 -4 hrs and now almost 5. I love his snuggles but have to let him begin napping with me then transfer to a swing or rock n play to get things done. You do WHATEVER works best for you!! No reason for shaming!

I do both. If I’m tired I’ll staying laying with him and relax if I’m not I will let him be alone and do what I need to do. That’s my time to work out usually
