Hey, is anyone else trying to conceive for the first time while also battling hypertension (high blood pressure)? I was diagnosed with hypertension in 2019 and my doctor said it’s mostly linked to anxiety. I am doing everything in my power to keep my BP at a stable level, but sometimes it gets out of whack. I never have any other symptoms. Right now, I am no longer on medication. My doctor said I should come back to see her though if it gets too high. But I’m afraid it’s going to affect my pregnancy whenever that does happen. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or if anyone else has had experience with high blood pressure before getting pregnant.
