Melatonin and breastfeeding

Has anyone taken melatonin while breastfeeding?? My baby is 6 months now and I haven’t had a full nights sleep since he was born. My SO is gonna take over tonight, and I’m thinking of taking melatonin so i can sleep all night. will the melatonin affect my breast milk or baby?
