Will an at home Doppler work at 8 weeks? & is it easy to find two heartbeats if your having twins?

It can’t reliably be used to find twins. The only way to know you’re having twins is an ultrasound. I had a nurse who had trouble finding both my babies’ heartbeats at 13 weeks.

I found it at exactly 8w with my third and 7+6 with my fourth.  If it’s your first pregnancy though, I imagine it would be difficult to find at that stage.  Watch YouTube videos to get tips,  this early, I think it’d be nearly impossible to differentiate which heartbeat is which for twins as they’d be so close together and your uterus is so small yet, that you can hear from one side to the other basically.

I'm 12+3 and still haven't been able to find baby on the at home doppler. They were able to find it in the doctor's office after searching for a long while though.

I found the heartbeat of my daughter with my home Doppler at 8+6. It was hard to find but it was there! Watch a YouTube video. “Home Doppler at x weeks pregnant” and there will be videos showing you where to look.

Baby and uterus are still down below your pelvic bone at 8 weeks, you won’t be able to find a heartbeat that early.
