Screaming toddler 🙉😫

So my 18 m old started screaming, at the top of his lungs. He screams like that all day. A week ago he lost his voice because of the screaming, and I just can’t get him to stop I don’t know how to come about this, I tried the “using our quiet voice” I tried whispering, I can’t ignore it anymore it’s really frustrating. He doesn’t talk yet apart from mama, Tata, baba, dydy. Maybe that’s the reason because he is trying to say something but he can’t so he ends up screaming. I don’t know what to do I can see that this makes his throat sore very often, any of you ladies having or had the same issue? Any tips on what I could try to stop him from screaming ?
