Has anyone else experienced this?

So, my cycles are and have always been very regular. Typically, they’re about 25-27 days long. Anyway, long story short, I had a period this month, and found it very odd that my breast pain and the slight swelling never went away. This is my main symptom after ovulation, and it usually lasts until my period starts, or a couple days later.

Well, I’ll cut to the chase, I started my period 10 days early!!! Which tells me I just had an 18 day cycle. I track ovulation, and I normally ovulate 12-13 days prior to the start of my period. I am very symptomatic around ovulation and am very in tune with my body, so this is worrisome for me. If my symptoms are accurate in pinpointing ovulation, as well as a positive opk, I started my next period only about 4-5 days after I supposedly ovulated. I do know none of this confirms I ovulated, but the whole situation is odd.

I’ll see what happens over the next couple of cycles. I’ll schedule an appointment with my OBGYN of this continues of course. Thank you.
