Going back to school?
Hey mamas. So I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My pregnancy was not planned but me and my fiance are very happy. I took the last semester off from college due to covid and being pregnant, I just wanted to worry about work and my pregnancy and not throw school in there as well. Well, my son is due June 19th and everyone is pressuring me to go back to school in September. I'm working on my bachelors degree in education so I can become an English teacher but I feel like it's just too soon and I want to take one more semester off. My son would barely be 2 months old when I go back to school, I dont want to be leaving him with anyone at that age yet but my fiance keeps telling me he won't let me drop out but doesn't get it when I tell him I'm not dropping out, im just giving myself one more semester at home with our baby. I just dont know what to do. I want to finish school, but I also don't want to miss out on anything with my first baby. I want to stay home and enjoy my maternity leave and my bonding time with my baby. He wants me to send our baby to his moms house during the day and for me to go back to school. What do I do?
