My boyfriend put a shirt over my face while we were having sex. Should I be concerned?

My previous relationship made me really insecure in a lot of ways especially sex wise, so maybe I'm overthinking and reading into things that aren't there. Me and my boyfriend have a pretty healthy sex life and this is the first time he's ever done this and it caught me off guard. After a few seconds I moved it but it made me feel like he didn't care about connecting with me and I could've been anyone; he just wanted to get off really quick. He knows how much I like us looking at each other during sex so I won't pretend to know why he did it. I'm gonna talk to him regardless about it because it really hurt my feelings I just want some feedback so I know how to approach it.
