I follow what Taking Cara Babies recommends: Naps at capped at a total combined time of 3 hours, and the maximum nap in one go is 2 hours. So if he sleeps 2 hours in the morning, I’ll wake him, and then his next nap can only be an hour at the most.
Or if he sleeps 1.5 hours first, then he can have up to 1.5 later- and so forth
