Post Partum Depression in dads?

How long did yours last?
What was the experience like for you? (Dads &/or Moms)
What or who helped you get better?

I’m asking because my fiancé has it and we’re first time parents and it’s affected our relationship drastically I just wanted some advice from other men on this one cause I’m very lost 😣 please help.￼￼

Yes there is a form of post partum for fathers.  Not many will admit to it..society has given men the role of protectors and providers. So something like feeling sad is deemed weak so many will shove it to the back of a subconscious mind. Some may have had depression and being fathers gave them new purpose. If yiu feel that he maybe in a depressed state let him know he is appreciated  not just when he cooks dinner or cleans. Just a random, " you are a great man I appreciate you" or "Thank you for all you do.for.me"  Maybe you do thst already I don't know.
